Benefits of the Solar Kit Deye 6 kW with a 16 kWh RW-F16 battery and 630 W Tongwei panels
Inverter and a battery from the same manufacturer
Combine the inverter using a battery from the same brand is the safest way to ensure the communication compatibility. The Deye RW-F16 it integrates natively with the SUN-6K-SG05LP1-EU by CAN, shares the platform with him remote monitoring and it is configured without third-party protocols. For the installer, this means faster commissioning; for the user, a single ecosystem for monitoring production, consumption, and charging status.
16 kWh in a single unit, with power headroom
The RW-F16 group 16 kWh (rated) and 14.4 kWh usable in a single module. Its 160 a direct current exceeds the 135A from the inverter, and its peaks of 300 A for 10 seconds they easily cover the starts of engines and compressors. It is one of the lithium batteries the most comprehensive options for those who want high capacity without having to install multiple modules.
Ready to Grow
If consumption increases, for example by a electric car or a aerothermal energy, you can connect up to 32 RW-F16 batteries in parallel, up to 512 kWh. The inverter Deye, and it also supports up to 16 units in parallel, which allows the entire system to be scaled.
High-efficiency photovoltaic power generation
The 12 tongwei TNC 2.0 panels employ 132 n-type half-cells with 2.0 mm double-pane glass, , temperature coefficient of -0.28%/°C and 80±5% bifaciality, which can increase the power per module to as much as 724W with 15% rear gain. Its linear warranty ensures the 87.40% of peak performance at age 30. The inverter, one of the inverters hybrids the most widely installed in Spain, meets RD 140 and UNE 217002 for legalization.

Technical Guidelines for Installation
Strings: 6 panels per MPPT
The inverter has 2 MPPT with one string per entry and a maximum of 500V. The 12 modules are divided into two sets of six, who work at 246.6 V at the maximum power point, within the MPPT window of 150-425 V. In an open circuit, each series reaches 297V in STC and a few 322V at -10 °C, calculated using the Voc coefficient of -0.24%/°C. The installed capacity, 7,560 Wp, respects the maximum PV input of 7,800 W.
Each MPPT operates with a maximum of 13A, below the panel's Imp (15.33A). During the midday hours of highest irradiance, the inverter limits the current, a common effect with high-power panels that is offset by higher output during periods of lower light. The ISC at STC (16.18A) falls within the 17A per entry.
Battery e inverter: voltage and current
The operating range of the RW-F16, by 44.8 V to 57.6 V, is inside the battery compartment of the inverter, by 40-60 V. Since the battery supports 160 A continuous, the upload and download limits are set by the inverter, with 135A: surplus energy is stored as quickly as possible, and the battery alone can supply the equipment's rated power.
How much energy does it generate, and how much does it store
As a general guide, with 5 peak solar hours and a yield of 80%, the field of 7.56 kWp would result in about 30 kWh per day annual average. The 14.4 kWh usable the battery's capacity allows it to store nearly the half of that production and, with an average nighttime consumption of 1 kW, would be enough for about 14 hours. Actual figures depend on location and usage; in the Blog by Tienda Solar our experts explain how to size your system using real-world data.
Battery Installation
The RW-F16 is installed wall-mounted or floor-standing. It measures 480 x 830 x 235 mm without a stand or base, and it weighs 122 kg, so it is advisable to provide for a a wall or floor with sufficient load-bearing capacity and have several people work on it. Its iP20 protection requires that it be placed indoors, in a dry, well-ventilated area.
Recommended Usage Profiles
Homes with high nighttime energy consumption
With 14.4 kWh usable, the battery covers the afternoon and evening electricity consumption of most homes, including the air conditioning or the electric stove, and minimizes the amount of energy purchased from the grid.
Homes with frequent power outages or in rural areas
The standalone mode from the inverter, their peaks of twice the rated power for 10 seconds and the ability to carry a diesel generator make this kit a reliable backup solution.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. What are the advantages of using a battery and inverter Deye in the same kit?
The communication is natural: the RW-F16 and the SUN-6K-SG05LP1-EU are defined as CAN without any modifications, the battery is monitored via the inverter and setup is faster. It also simplifies incident management, since you're dealing with a single manufacturer.
2. How much usable energy does the battery have Deye RW-F16?
Its rated power is 16 kWh and the utility of 14.4 kWh, calculated as of 90% discharge depth. Its service life exceeds 6,000 cycles at 25 °C, with a 0.5C charge and discharge rate.
3. Can I add more batteries later?
Yes. The RW-F16 supports up to 32 units in parallel, with a maximum of 512 kWh. It's a good option if you plan to add an electric car, a heat pump, or other energy-consuming appliances in the future.
4. Where is the battery installed, and how much does it weigh?
It can be assembled wall-mounted or floor-standing, always at interior, since its protection rating is IP20. Weighs 122 kg and measures 480 x 830 x 235 mm, so the anchoring surface must be able to support that weight.
5. Does the system work during a power outage?
Yes. The inverter can work at off-grid mode using power from the panels and the battery, and supports peaks of twice its rated power for 10 seconds. With 14.4 kWh usable, the range is substantial, although it always depends on fuel consumption and the charge level.
6. What warranties are included with the kit?
The tongwei panels have 12-year product warranty and 30-year linear power warranty. The battery Deye RW-F16 has 5-year warranty, and the inverter Deye, , 5 or 10 years depending on the final installation location, in accordance with each manufacturer's policy.
7. How many meters of roofing do the panels require?
The 12 panels, measuring 2,382 x 1,134 mm each one takes up about 32 m² not counting spacers. Each module weighs 32.2 kg and supports 5,400 Pa front-loading and 2,400 Pa rear.
